Finally, the sun is suppose to be shining bright in the morning!! Now, set aside 1 hour for mowing & 30 minutes to close the holes in the fence that the chiuaua is getting out through.
Niece in Oklahoma City, had minor damage, broken window, few loose shingles as tornado passed less than a block away. Neighbor's tree laying across both back yards. Glad all are ok.
Been enjoying this past week, other than the storms. The wife's first full week of vacation she has been able to take in 5 years.

I echo cosys sentiments. That definitely was terrible to hear that OK was getting hit by more tornadoes, and even Moore got hit again... Glad everyone is okay there.
Rained everyday but Sunday it seemed. And no rain today. Possibly PM showers tomorrow. Hopefully that is holds off until late afternoon. I am taking my nephew to a park tomorrow.

I used to know how long a cubit was... Oh nevermind, just build the darn thing and bring it here. Pretty sure we are going to need an ark here soon.

Sunday was suppose to be nice, but wound up mowing with my windbreaker on. Chiuaua can't get out of the yard, or it seems that way for now.
The wife's Durango has mechanical problem, not sure what yet, but it doesn't want to stay running. She has been driving my truck for awhile now. She got home from the store yesterday evening and anti-freeze was dripping under it. Couldn't tell where it was leaking, will have to look again in AM, that is if the rain stays away long enough.
Don't know what is up with this Mediacom internet, had to reset their modem 4 times today. They are getting a call tomorrow. Our DSL in the country was better than this 15 meg setup we have now.

Sunday was a cool day. As was today. Both had highs in the 60's, though Sunday was a bit cooler.
Geez, seems like car problems are popular on here. Your cars, my fiancee's cars, not looking good for the car department.
Mediacom is bad. I had a choice between Mediacom and AT&T for internet here. I chose AT&T cause I loathe Mediacom. Moving in with my fiancee (will be wife then) in a couple weeks. She has Comcast, which is still bad but better than Mediacom imho.

I know Comcast is part of the axis of evil but it is better than the alternatives here atm. AT&T is too slow, Mediacom is even more evil... So Comcast is the lesser of evils here at least. I'm definitely hoping Google Fiber expands quickly.
Not supposed to rain today, which is good! Taking my second oldest nephew to a park today. Should be fun.

Slot B is over by joist W4. A bit to the left.
I might have some backup ark plans around here somewhere...
Actually looks like it might clear up soon. Supposed to rain a bit today, then on Sunday, and then next Wednesday. Otherwise it is supposed to be sunny! Here is to hoping it is!
Oh, and pray for NO rain next Saturday. Cause I'm getting married. And the fiancee is stressed that it might rain...

pwnd here's a little poem for you.
So it rained on your wedding day?
Get over it.
Our planet is 7/10s water.
If it weren't,
we probably wouldn't be here.
Our bodies are 98% water.
If they weren't,
we'd be toast.
When the Bible says that the rain falls
on the just and the unjust alike,
it is saying how lucky the unjust are,
because in the arid climate of the Middle East
rain is almost always in short supply.
Water is essential to life.
We drink it to survive,
we bathe in it for cleanliness,
and we baptize our children in it
as a sign of God's eternal blessing
on them and on ourselves.
So when it rains on your wedding day
it doesn't mean you've had bad luck
or should have waited for a sunny day.
It means you are being married
under the surest sign of divine favor
and that your love for the person you marry
is being symbolically sprinkled from on high
to remind you that your entire life
is a precious gift from heaven
which you are about to share
with somebody very special to you
just as he is about to share his life with you.
So praise God, from whom all blessings flow
ββor, if you prefer, from whom all flowings bless.
ββ John Killinger

if you are doing any of the ceremony/photos outside then rain is a bad thing, otherwise, rain on your wedding day has always been seen as a very good outlook for the marriage! (it didnt rain on mine, but it was late october and we were more worried about snow!! so it was just a very very very grey day and heck, its been 20 years for us!).
so tell the bride to be, rain is a blessing!
and I just found a new set of plans...unfortunately its in HEBREW !!

She is just worried about getting good outdoor pictures. If it rains after that I don't think she cares so much.

yeah...it would be good to have a lack of rain while taking photos.
well its all greek to me (and I took a year of greek in college, only 1/2 semster of hebrew was student teaching at the time and had to drop it since the class wasnt late enough for me to get back to--though the teacher cancelled it a few weeks later due to everyone dropping it!).
so I think I have a hebrew to greek to latin dictionary....here..
...somewheres----

Welp, got the truck straightened out for the moment. That Durango is another story altogether. Wishing now that I had been a little stronger saying no, when we bought it. She wanted it, so we got it. Let's just say, I had a not so good feeling while looking at it. They were too easy in dropping the price in half when I made the offer.
Only been in this place a couple of months and already had a neighbor comment on how nice the yard is looking. Bare spots are filling in and I haven't spent a penny on seed. I set the mower deck to 3" off the sidewalk and mow the grass 3" tall. This gives the grass a chance to spread its roots. My yard is green, even after mowing, while most of the yards around us are brown for a day or two after mowing. Don't know why they cut it so short. Hopefully, come August, the ones that question my reasoning, will see the difference. (I am not Uncle R.)
Best wishes to you and yours, I pwnd U. May you be blessed with a long, happy marriage.

I took two years of Spanish. They only offered Spanish, German, and French at my high school. So meh.
Well I hope you get your car situation figured out Perk. And I'm glad your yard is coming together. A nice yard is a wonderful thing.
Thanks for the best wishes. We are definitely excited. Only 8 days now until we get married. o.O Getting real close!

so lets start the party early:

I have never replaced a reservoir for windshield wiper fluid, but I have replaced one for engine coolant. I'm hoping mine stays together. It is due for a tire rotation and a timing belt change soon.
lol Getting the party started a week early. I'm down with that I guess.
